A little about Korean skincare

Korean Skincare korean skincare

In recent years, Korean skincare has taken the world by storm and is becoming increasingly popular in Scandinavia and Europe. Thousands of Korean beauty products are on the market today and new products are being introduced all the time. Korean beauty and skincare products are said to be a decade or more ahead of Western products in terms of innovative ingredients and really great quality products for the price.

Koreans are known for their porcelain skin, which is achieved through a unique regime. It is not uncommon for Korean women to spend half an hour on their typical skincare routine (usually consisting of 10 steps) with several different skincare products put together for a morning routine and evening routine with a different composition. You can read more about the 10-step Korean skincare routine here. Where we also give you more simplified 3 and 5 step routines.

Such high demands have driven the cosmetics industry to a very high standard with really competitive prices. Thanks to the competition, the Korean skincare market continues to push to improve its products and offers new innovative skincare products at low prices but with high-quality ingredients.

Ingredient lists are often easy to pronounce and formulated without harmful ingredients, for example, formulations may contain a fruit or vegetable extract as well as gold, snail mucin, bee venom or fermented ingredients. Many people are not aware that BB creams, CC creams, sheet masks and essences are all concepts that come from Korean skincare.
