What do they mean?

Vegan and Cruelty-Free Labels

The Cruelty-free label is usually given to all products that have not been tested on animals and those products that are not sold in countries where animal testing is required by law, such as China. However, we at MAQES take it even more seriously, so you will not find a Cruelty-free label on products that contain snail mucin, propolis or honey, even if these products have not been tested on animals.
Vegan skincare means that products are made without the use of ingredients from animals, including animal by-products, such as propolis.
